6th LED professional Symposium +Expo
Around 1,600 specialists from over 50 countries attended the LED professional Symposium +Expo (LpS) at Bregenz Festival House from 20 to 22 September 2016 to discuss new innovations and trends in light technology. The keynote speaker was Nobel Prize winner Shuji Nakamura, inventor of blue light-emitting diodes.
The LpS has established itself as a benchmark event for technology experts in the field of LED and OLED.
Over 100 exhibitors from all over the world presented their latest products, services and innovations at the Workshop Theatre and the side stages. On top of that, the world’s biggest electro-luminiscent sheet was on display and was officially entered in the Guinness Book of Records during the event.
In a get-together event, attendees went to Bregenz Festival House’s own moorings and boarded a ship for a voyage out onto Lake Constance.
“Bregenz Festival House is an ideal location for our international green-tech event on LED lighting technologies. The high professionalism of the organisational team, the high quality of the equipment, the attractive location and the overall performance make the Bregenz Festival House the first choice for us. To a large extent we owe the positive development of our annual event to our partner Kongresskultur Bregenz.”
