LGT’s Musical Company Day
At the LGT Company Day on 2 September, around 1,300 employees of the bank came together at Bregenz Festival House for the LGT Song Project. The international participants of the corporate event created something special together: the first, exclusive LGT song.
LGT staff worked on separate parts of the song at afternoon workshops. They were assisted by professionals like the Swiss pop and rock star Marc Sway, who composed the song specially for LGT. The participants also created an impressive stage set, rehearsed the choreography with balloons, and learned to play African rhythms at a percussion workshop and to sing sections of the LGT song with the help of vocal coaches. Late in the afternoon the various pieces of the performance were fitted together and the LGT song was then premiered in the Great Hall of Bregenz Festival House. It was an electrifying experience with goose pimples all round.
In the evening the participants partied in the Werkstattbühne as well as the Seitenbühne and a tent erected for extra space. The break-dance group DDC, Marc Sway and the band Mr Ray’s Class ensured a great atmosphere and filled the dance floor.
